29th Dundee Guides spent a day at Newbigging, our Outdoor Centre, learning outdoor cooking skills and trying their hands at various crafts.
They used altar fires to cook sausages, burgers and vegetarian hotdogs. For many of the girls this was their first time cooking over a fire.
The girls tried their hands at making friendship bracelets and painting their own tote bags.
Assistant leader Kate said "it was great to spend the day in the fresh air, letting the girls try their hand at new activities, and cooking for themselves."
